DEDICATION
I’d like to dedicate this series to all my readers who feel in love with our crazy Queen. Thank you for coming along the journey that is Queenie and her merry men, and woman. It’s been a wild ride and although this isn’t the last you will see of this odd bunch, it is the end of this part of their story. Without you all, my books wouldn’t be possible, so thank you for loving my stories as much as I do.
Also, to my wifey Tamara, I’m officially giving you Neo. But, you're gonna have to fight Harlow/Queenie to keep him. Good luck with that one.

Prologue
Evie
The pain is unbearable. My head is throbbing like I’ve been used as a personal punching bag.
My eyes feel like sandpaper as I try to open them. My whole body hurts; my legs and arms feel like they’re being weighed down by bricks.
I just lay there, my mind fuzzy on where I am. Blinking until my blurry vision is gone, I find myself staring up at a dark sky. Car horns and sirens sound in the distance, telling me I must be in the city. How did I get here? What the hell is going on?
I can’t just lay here. I need to get up.
With all my strength, I roll onto my side, crying out as my head spikes with pain. With shaky fingers, I touch the spot on my head that’s sore, then look at my hands; blood. I must have hit my head.
Looking beyond my hands, there are garbage bins, and the smell finally hits me. I’m in a back alley. Groaning, I squint my eyes shut, willing the world to stop spinning.
Think, Evie. What the fuck happened?
Flashes of the boardwalk pop into my mind. Harlow and I laughing as we ride the Ferris wheel, chatting about everything and anything while we ate.
I remember we left the restaurant and started walking when Harlow realized that she had forgotten the photo booth pictures inside. So, I stayed here, but that's all I can recall.
So where the hell is Harlow? How did I end up lying in the back alley with my head bashed in?
Something isn't right, and a wave of panic takes over me. There's no way Harlow would’ve left me here.
I need to call for help.
Checking my pocket, I let out a sigh of relief when my hand wraps around my cell phone. I pull it out, and look at the screen. It's past midnight?
I've been out here for hours?
My fingers tremble as I search for Cass’s number. I stand on shaky legs, needing to get out of this alley and somewhere safer, while I wait for one for the guys to come pick me up.
“Hello?” Cass answers.
“Something’s not right,” I croak out, my throat feeling like I swallowed dirt.
“Evie? What are you talking about?”
“I just woke up alone, in a back alley. Cass, I’ve been here for hours. Harlow was only meant to go back inside the restaurant to grab something.” Tears prick my eyes and just as I’m about to step out of the alley, I notice something on the ground. Bending over, I pick it up. A cry rips from my throat as I hold the photos that Harlow went back for. Looking around, I see a few random people and a car drive by, but otherwise, this place is dead.
“Evie!” Cass calls out, his tone laced with his own panic.
“Someone took her,” I sob out. “I don’t know who, but she would never leave me like this, Cass. Never.”
“Fuck!” he roars. “Where are you? We’re coming to get you and find out what the fuck is going on.”
I tell him the name of the restaurant and move to sit on the front steps. I’m a trembling mess as I struggle to remember something, anything.
I’m not sitting here very long when a car pulls up. Cass gets out and rushes over, crouching down in front of me.
“Hey,” he says, his voice oddly calming. “Tell me everything.”
So I do; with tears streaming down my face, I tell him everything I remember in order, up until everything went black.
“You're right, there's no way she would’ve left you here.” He lets out a frustrated sigh, rubbing a hand down his face. “But this is Harlow we’re talking about, Queenie for fuck’s sake. No one has ever gotten the drop on her.”
“Until now...” I whisper. Normally I’m stronger than this. I lived a life of pure Hell for years; things don’t scare me so easily now. He’s right though, no one has ever gotten one over on Queenie, but someone has this time, and that sends raw terror throughout my body.
“She’s going to be okay. She always is. We’ll find her Evie, and when we do, I’ll fucking kill whoever took her,” he growls.
“Let's get back to the club so I can start looking at all the cameras around here. Maybe, they’ll give us somewhere to start,” I say, standing up. My legs give out, and Cass catches me.
“You're hurt,” he says, his brows pinching in concern.
“Yeah, I hit my head,” I say as he takes a look for himself.
“What’s this?” he asks, tilting my head to the side. He runs his finger over my neck, and I hiss out as he touches a tender spot. “Looks like a puncture wound. Someone drugged you, and that gash on your head... I don't think it’s from you falling. Whoever did this wanted you down, probably for good.”
“Who do you think it could be?” I ask as he helps me into the car.
“I don’t know. Harlow might be the top dog around here, but the list of enemies we don’t know about is long. There's no way you can do what she does and not have people out to get you.”
We start driving back to the club in silence. About halfway there, Cass looks over at me and says, “I might seem calm right now, but I’m losing my mind on the inside. So don’t think for a second that I’m not deathly afraid of where our girl is. However, I need to be strong because when I tell the others, it’s not going to be pretty. But, know this, she will be okay. I know deep in my soul she will be.”
“I’m just afraid of what she'll come back as this time.” I look out of the window, blinking tears away. She vowed from the moment she got out of that hell we were in that no one would ever control her again. She would bring down anyone who tried. I have no idea what they’ll do to her, or if she’ll ever come back. But if she does, my heart aches, wondering if she will be my Harlow, or will Queenie take over for good this time.
Beast
“FUCK!” I ROAR, PICKING up the nearest chair and chucking it against the club wall. It explodes into pieces, splinters of wood flying everywhere. Evie and Cass explained the night's events, and the moment they mentioned someone taking Harlow, I took over. It’s one thing thinking Harlow was gone for a while, because I still knew she would be coming back. But this time, she didn’t leave with the intention of returning to us when she was ready. Someone took her. Some fucking fool thought they had the right to take what was MINE. How fucking dare anyone think they had any right to lay a fucking finger on her.
Me taking over wasn't the better option, but if it means protecting Neo, it’s what had to be done. I lost it when Harlow chose to leave. Knowing someone has her, and could be doing any number of fucked up things to her, has me in a rage that I’ve never felt before.
I love this woman with every inch of my black heart and soul.
With my chest heaving, and fury thick in my veins, I only see one thing: Murder. Bloody, gruesome murder. When I get my hands on whoever it is, I will rip them apart limb by limb and enjoy the feeling of their chunks of warm flesh in the palms of my hands.
My eyes set on another chair, and I grasp it tightly, lifting it over my head, launching it at another wall.
“Would you stop destroying the fucking furniture, you overgrown gorilla,” Axel snaps.
“Fuck you!” I sneer, getting in his face.
“Don’t think I won’t knock you the fuck out,” he growls back. “You’re not the only one wanting to burn the fucking world down to get her back, but throwing a tantrum like a child isn’t going to help.” Axel takes another step toward me, not backing down. I really want to see a fist shaped dent in his head right now.
“Enough!” Dean shouts. “Beast, I think you need to go cool off while Evie does her thing. We’re no help if we can’t keep our heads on straight.”
Like an angry bull, I look over at him wanting to knock him out too.
“Don’t look at me like that. You raging out and throwing things around isn’t going to help us find out what happened to our girl. We’re all afraid and worried. But you guys seem to forget... This is Queenie we're talking about. No matter where she's at or who the fuck has her, she’s not gonna take it lying down. You know for a fact they’ll die a slow and painful death. And it won't be by our hands.”
“You wanna bet?” I ask, my voice eerily calm.
“Go,” Cass demands, stepping forward. “And you,” he says looking at his brother. “You're not helping.”
“What the fuck do you want me to do? Go banging on every door in LA? I’ll do it, but I don’t think it will help any,” Axel scoffs.
Turning around, I leave them to do what they can to locate Harlow. They’re right, I’m no use to them when I’m like this, but I know a place where I am.
The feelings inside me are too intense. I don’t know how to process it all, but the need to spill blood is overwhelming.
The smell of piss is strong when I get downstairs, and I sneer at the pathetic man strapped to the chair.
“I was going to give you to My Queen as a surprise date night tomorrow. But because there's someone out there in the world who has a death wish, that won't be happening,” I say, walking over to the table of toys. My fingers skim along each of them, stopping when I reach the dagger. Why not go with My Queen's favorite?
“But, it would be a waste of a rapist if I shot you in the head and was done with you just like that,” I say, snapping my fingers. His eyes widen as he starts to scream against his gag while shaking his head. “So, you agree?” I grin. “Glad to see we’re on the same page.”
Before I do something stupid, I need to channel all my anger. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to shut it off. Maybe I’ll have one of the guys toss down some playmates to keep me busy in the meantime. I can’t go rogue like last time and piss My Queen off. This time, it's different.
Once I’m no longer able to hold back, I take a wild punch, cutting his forehead. I swing back the other way, hitting his cheek. With a toothy grin, I keep swinging, each slash hitting a new spot. Each swipe is bigger and cuts deeper. Blood starts to flow, and I find myself in a trance as I watch it fall from the wounds.
My back and forth motions turn into stabs as he screams and pleads like someone’s gonna save him. No one’s gonna save you. You don’t deserve to be saved.
By the time I’m out of breath, my arm is sore. I step back to see the damage done. He’s dead, probably has been for the past ten minutes, but I wasn’t finished with him.
Blood pools on the floor, forming a pretty puddle, and I find myself wishing My Queen was here to enjoy it with me.
That has the rage bubbling up inside me all over again. I need another body, then I’m going hunting for My Queen. God help anyone who gets in my way.
Chapter 1
Harlow
“WATER!” I SHOUT, AS I pace back and forth in the cell that they’ve been holding me in these past few days, while running the steel cup against the bars. “More water!”
I swear if this motherfucker makes me drink my own piss or something, we’re gonna be throwing hands.
“Would you shut the fuck up,” he roars from the top of the stairs. The place is dark; only the glow of the moonlight streaming in from the little window on the other side of the room helps me see my surroundings.
“Well, give me some water and maybe I will,” I sass back. “While you're at it, can I get a cheeseburger or maybe a steak? The fucking sandwiches you keep giving me taste like fucking cardboard.” I scrunch my nose up as I think about the one I haven't touched, sitting on the tray on the other side of my cell.
“You’ll get your water when I bring your next meal. Try and make it last longer,” he snaps.
“But you only feed me three times a day. What kind of bed and breakfast are you running? I’ll be sure to give you a one star review.”
“You think you're so funny, don't you, My Hummingbird? Let's see if you’re laughing when I have my fun with you.”
“That would require you to actually show your face. You only bring me food when I’m asleep. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen you since you locked me in this homemade prison. Does your mommy know you're keeping girls in the basement?”
“Your mouth is gonna get you killed, Harlow,” he growls.
“And you're just gonna get killed,” I sing back.
“Says the one behind bars,” he chuckles.
“Oh honey, there’s so much you’ve missed out on all these years that you’ve been dead. See, I’m not that little mindless sex doll that you loved to flaunt around and share with your top paying clients. I eat little bitches like you for supper. This whole kidnapping thing is cute and all, but you’ve only signed your death certificate.”
“Keep talking, little girl. You’re only making it so much sweeter when you’re choking on my dick.”
“Ha! I wouldn’t try that if I were you. I’m telling you right now, I will one-hundred percent bite it the fuck off.”
He lets out a sound like some kind of constipated bull as he charges down the stairs and over to me.
“I’ve had enough from you! Don’t make me fucking drug you.”
I can’t see his face, but I can make out his silhouette.
“Kinda surprised you haven’t already.” I tilt my head to the side, squinting like it's gonna help me see better, but it doesn’t. “So, what are your plans with me exactly? If you're looking to get married and settle down with some kids, I hate to break it to you, marriage isn't really something I’m into. And I’m not ready for any kids right now. You know how hard it would be to dance around and slowly kill you with a round, heavy belly? Nah, I love to be graceful and shit, it makes the cuts cleaner and the blood pour more smoothly.”
“You really have changed, haven't you?” he questions.
I roll my eyes even if he can’t see me. “Duh, I’ve only told you that a million times. About time you let it sink into your thick skull.”
“I’ve been keeping tabs on you over the years. I knew who you became, but I’ve never seen your work for myself. A real shame, I’ve heard interesting things.”
